After "golden-week" some Japanese get May-hypochondria, it means freshmen's hypochondria. Japan government and education, company begin in April. so Japanese work hard in April, but after "Golden-week" some japanese feel tire and get May-hypochondria.

Today also see newspaper and website. It happened big earthquake in China, Sichuan. Do you know? Living in Japan, we sometimes meet earthquake, but Sichuan area seldom happen. So many Chinese people feel shock and I worry about after big earthquake issue. for example lifeline, PTSD, reconstruction.

I want to continue Izu travel photo. Izu also famous area to happen earthquake. This area sometimes happen big earthquake, and will happen bigger earthquake in the future. So many specialist about earthquake have warned.

This photo is Wasabi terraced fields. I think Wasabi is luxury plant. Because Wasabi need pure and clean much water. Do you know Wasabi? Wasabi is famouse Japanese spice. If you have eaten "Sushi", you know it.

and...I want to introduce dinner in a guesthouse... This guesthouse is cheap, but we ate so many many food. It is fish dinner, so maybe you can eat it too. But have you ever eaten Sashimi? Sashimi means slices of raw fish.

And you said...about a car.
In Tokyo we don't need buy car, because train and bus is best way to go everywhere, office, school, shop, friend house and so on... But if we go to rural place, we had better to rent-a-car. Japanese car company, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda... they have rent-a-car company. It is easy to reserve a car.

Mata-ne!!

hello

how are you my friend
thanks so much for that risala, it's good to know more about your daily life there... here things are different from yours... for example poeple here like to travel with their own cars.... and it's rare when renting a car despite that there's alot of agency which rent cars........ also pople dislike traveling at the public transportantion cervises, see that it's always crowded, and slow, specially at the big cities.

this period it's the examinations period here, so i am preparing my students to pass their final examinations.... after that i shall inspect the national examination in my region, students at final terms must pass the BACHCHALORIATE , it's a national final examination... and this will happen in 2 periods, first at begening of jun, they will pass the principal examinations... and students whom will fail to get 10 from 20 as marks in all subjects, they shall pass a second examinations, at the end of june.

our educational systhem is so different then yours, here 1 school year is during 9 monthes... i guess that such period you do in it 2 school years....

ok, soonly i will write more
have happy day

Drive a Car in Izu

Hello... How are you?
Last week was "Golden-week" in Japan. I went to Izu with my friend. Izu is located in Shizuoka prefecture, south of Tokyo, one of the famous sight-seeing place in Japan.

First we took "Sinkansen" super express line, after arrive at Atami station.

I used lent-a-car service. Lent-a-car is cheeper than buying car. I usually need not to use a car, because train is most useful and convenient transportation system in Tokyo.
But I like to drive a car. So when I have a trip, I sometimes use lent-a-car service and I enjoy driving... and car navigation system help me to lead every destination, so I don't need to feel stress.

I saw Mt.Fuji. Do you know Mt.Fuji? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Fuji
or... do you know Fuji Film? Perhaps you don't know Mt.Fuji, but know Fuji Film company.

Fuji mountain is most high mountain(3776m) in Japan. it figure is beautiful, so I feel special about Mt.Fuji.

Next time, I want to upload other picture...
Mata-ne!

Hello... how are you?? End of April and begining of May, we have some holiday. We call it "Golden-week". perhaps it is Japanese-English.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Week_%28Japan%29

Golden-week have 3 national holiday and saturday, sunday and so on... many people have a plan, travel, shopping, meet a friend and so on.

During Golden-week I have a plan to go travel... And for going travel I have to finish my task before travel... so I am busy now.
it is important for me to go travel, because I can take rest during travel.

I cooked Sanma (Pacific saury) and Daikon to use pressure cooker. Pressure cooker is useful, because I can cook short time.

Pacific saury is cheap fish, but taste is good. so I like to cook it. I sometimes market, I buy some Pacific saury and stock it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_saury
and Daikon... I have introduced it... it is cheap and big vegetable... I like so much. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daikon

have a nice weekend!!
